Pukka is a DJ duo made up of Jonathan Deardoff (NY) and Mark Vicente
(Toronto).

They have landed gigs in New York City, Toronto and residency at The Circuit
in New Jersey where DJs such as Junior Vazquez, Hex Hector and Chad Jack
have graced the decks.

Pukka promotes their own party in Brooklyn along with their local crew, The
Faculty, made up of burgeoning DJ talents of various genres. Loft 101 is a
social gathering celebrating electronic music and a platform for artists to
discuss ideas in an open and diverse environment. The Party is a night
filled with an array of electronic beats, visuals, burlesque acts and Art.
"We wanted to transform our home into a space where our friends could feel
like a VIP guest in a private club where anything could happen."

Dubbed the "Purveyors of House Music" by TimeOut New York, Pukka is
determined to bring the party spirit back into the scene. "We grew up as
ravers, going to the Tunnel, Vinyl and Industry in Toronto to hear people
like Danny Tenaglia spin 8 hour sets. The scene then was about a community
embracing exciting dance music and we want to see that energy return again
where people are not afraid to let loose, connect with friendly strangers
and dance all night long."

Their passion for the music has created a loyal fanbase who expect a blend
of funky house infused with sexy, twisted beats at every turn behind the
decks. "Every party is an opportunity to take the crowd on a musical journey
that leaves them inspired. There's nothing like sharing your love of music
and having a crowd show their appreciation simply by smiling and dancing.
It's the ultimate rush."
